Biography

Dr. Harmanpreet Kaur is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician, Gynecologist & Laparoscopic surgeon at Healing Hospital, Chandigarh. After completing her MBBS & MD (Obs & Gynae) from India, She moved to UK to do her M.Ch in Minimally Invasive Surgery( Laparoscopy) and also became a distinguished member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (RCOG) . She served in NHS (National health services, UK) in reputed hospitals of Manchester and Nottingham. Her diligence and expertise has earned immense reputation in India and abroad. With an experience of more than 10 years under her belt, She is highly skilled to perform complex procedures including Laparoscopic Myomectomy, Laparoscopic Cystectomy, Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Colposcopy along with managing high risk pregnancies. She is medically and surgically very sound and believes in ethical work with up to the mark treatment for her patients. She makes sure that her patients are fully aware of the treatments meted out to them and goes the extra mile in educating them. Her belief to deliver quality care with compassion and dedication is what distinguishes her from others. She loves to share her knowledge and teaches MRCOG courses to aspiring medical students in her spare time. She is also registered with General medical Council, UK and Medical Council in India.

He actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings. At Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures.

He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL where he was selected as a Chief Internal Medicine Resident. He then went to LSU Medical School in New Orleans where he was an Honors Program Graduate and finished in the top quartile of his graduating class.
