Biography

Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sardana is a highly experienced and accomplished Consultant Anaesthesiologist with over 15 years of clinical and academic expertise in the field of anaesthesia and perioperative medicine. He began his medical journey with an MBBS from Tirunelveli Medical College, Tamil Nadu, and went on to complete his MD in Anaesthesiology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He further earned a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Anaesthesiology from the National Board of Examinations, India.

Dr. Sardana has served in esteemed institutions such as PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he held positions as a Senior Resident and later as an Assistant Professor. These roles allowed him to gain broad-based exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, neurosurgical, obstetric, trauma, and emergency anaesthesia. Since 2016, he has been practicing independently, providing expert anaesthesia services across multiple private multispecialty hospitals and surgical centers in the Chandigarh region.

With core competencies in airway management, critical care, regional anaesthesia techniques, and postoperative pain control, Dr. Sardana ensures safe and patient-centric anaesthetic care. He is known for his meticulous preoperative evaluations and precise intraoperative execution, resulting in improved patient outcomes and enhanced recovery.

In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Sardana has a strong academic inclination. He actively mentors’ postgraduate students and has several peer-reviewed publications to his name. Dr. Sardana is certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS & ACLS) and holds registration with the Medical Council of India.
