Dr. Ivan Joshi is an experienced Gastroenterologist with extensive training in managing a wide range of digestive system, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic diseases. He completed his DM (Gastroenterology) from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana—a leading institution in Northern India. He further pursued a Fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, gaining expertise in advanced procedures like ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), and third-space endoscopic interventions including POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy).
Dr. Joshi has rich clinical experience from working in various reputed medical centers across India such as Max Hospital Mohali, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana, Satguru Partap Singh Hospital Ludhiana, Aryavart Hospital Meerut, Government Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh, and Neelam Hospital Punjab.
He is proficient in dealing with patients of almost all spectrums of gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders. His special expertise includes managing gastrointestinal emergencies like GI bleeding, biliary obstruction, hepatic encephalopathy, and liver-related complications. He is highly skilled in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and third-space endoscopy techniques.
Dr. Joshi is known for his strong clinical skills, patient-focused approach, and leadership in high-pressure medical environments. He is committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and hepatology. He has contributed to improving patient outcomes and operational efficiencies in his previous roles.
He has actively participated in academic and research activities, presenting posters at various state and national conferences. Notably, he was awarded first prize for a poster presentation at HP RSSDI on diabetes.
