What to expect after the IUI procedure?

There are certain tips that you need to follow to in the days following the IUI procedure so as to increase the success rate.

  • – Consume a nutritious diet that is rich in protein.
  • – Avoid smoking and consuming alcohol.
  • – Do light exercises and try to avoid stress.
  • – A little bit of spotting can occur for two to three days following the procedure but this is completely normal.
  • – You can experience implantation bleeding after 7-12 days from the date of IUI. This is the first step towards getting pregnant.
  • – Once implantation has occurred, HCG is produced in the body and you can experience various symptoms such cramps, abdominal discomfort, nausea and fatigue.
