Dr. Preeti Sharma is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at Healing Hospital, Chandigarh with 18+ years of transformative experience in the comprehensive management of complex respiratory disorders, lung diseases, and critical care. She brings exceptional expertise in advanced bronchoscopic procedures, lung cancer screening, and evidence-based respiratory medicine to the Tricity healthcare landscape.
Dr. Sharma completed her MBBS from Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, —where she developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and patient care. She pursued her postgraduate specialization earning her MD in Pulmonary Medicine from GMCH, Chandigarh, Punjab University, gaining comprehensive training in all aspects of respiratory diseases, bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, and respiratory critical care.
Recognizing the critical importance of intensive care management in respiratory emergencies, Dr. Sharma completed her Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) in 2015 from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, equipping her with advanced skills in managing critically ill patients, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and intensive care protocols. This dual expertise in pulmonary medicine and critical care makes her uniquely qualified to manage the entire spectrum of respiratory conditions from outpatient care to life-threatening emergencies.

She is an active faculty member at national conferences including NAPCON (National Association for Pulmonary Medicine Conference) where she has served as panelist on COVID management and severe asthma sessions (2021, 2023), speaker on telemedicine in critically ill patients (2022), and has provided hands-on training in bronchoscopy workshops at BRONCOCON 2024, Kochi, reflecting her commitment to advancing respiratory medicine education.
