Dr. Abhishek Bhatia is a highly accomplished Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, whose academic journey through some of India’s most prestigious medical institutions has laid the foundation for his expertise and excellence in clinical care. He pursued his DM (Gastroenterology) from Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College and Hospitals, Jaipur — one of the most prestigious medical institutions in Rajasthan. He completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (Delhi University) and his MD in Internal Medicine from the renowned Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Sion Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Bhatia has gained valuable clinical experience during his tenure as Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at LTMMC and Sion Hospital, Mumbai. His clinical expertise spans the management of a wide range of gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic diseases. He is proficient in handling gastrointestinal emergencies, including gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatic encephalopathy, biliary obstruction, and foreign body removal.
A promising Interventional Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, Dr. Bhatia has special training and interest in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
